This Privacy Policy describes how Unbound, LLC (“Unbound,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares your Personal Information when you visit https://unbound-now.com/ (the “Site”), create an account, or use any Services offered through Unbound, including sessions with independent Specialists (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy works together with our Terms & Conditions, which are incorporated by reference. All capitalized terms not defined here have the same meaning as in the Terms & Conditions.

By accessing the Site, creating an account on the Site or on a connected third-party platform, submitting information to us, or purchasing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. General

If you visit the Site, you are a Site User.
If you purchase or use any paid Services, you are a Client.

This Privacy Policy applies to all Site Users and Clients (“you”).

This Site and the Services are intended for individuals age 13 or older. Individuals between ages 13 and 17 may only use the Site or Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by this Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions on the minor’s behalf. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13.

If we learn we have collected data from someone under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact [email protected].

This Privacy Policy applies to United States users and is governed by U.S. law.

  • Communications sent via email, text, or through third-party platforms used to deliver Services (e.g., CoachAccountable)

Because Unbound connects Clients with independent Specialists, you may optionally choose to share information related to your goals, challenges, or emotional history. This information is used solely to facilitate Sessions.

Unbound does NOT require or request sensitive medical information, but some Clients voluntarily share personal background information relevant to coaching. You should not submit emergency-level mental health information through the Site.

2.3 Information Related to Sessions

To deliver Services, we may collect:

  • Session scheduling details

  • Notes or materials voluntarily shared with us or your Specialist

  • Preferences or information shared while using the platform

Some Specialists may offer to record portions of your Session (audio or video). You will always be informed and may decline recording.

All Session recordings, if created, are owned by Unbound, LLC and/or the Specialist and are used according to our Terms & Conditions.

2.4 Combined Personal Information

“Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy includes both:

  • Device Information, and

  • Information You Provide Directly

3. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use your Personal Information to:

Provide and Improve Services

  • Process payments for Sessions or packages

  • Match you with Specialists

  • Schedule Sessions

  • Deliver Services and facilitate communication with Specialists

  • Improve Site functionality and quality

Communicate With You

  • Send confirmations, reminders, updates, and support messages

  • Respond to questions or customer service requests

  • Notify you of changes to our Services or policies

  • Send marketing communications (with opt-out available)

Ensure Safety and Compliance

  • Detect and prevent fraud

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Enforce the Terms & Conditions

  • Identify inappropriate or unsafe use of the Services

Analytics and Site Optimization

  • Understand how visitors use the Site

To provide the Services, certain information may be shared with your chosen Specialist, including:

  • Contact information

  • Intake responses

  • Relevant notes or history

Specialists are independent contractors, not employees of Unbound, LLC. They are solely responsible for:

  • Protecting any information they receive

  • Securing notes or records they maintain independently

  • Complying with all applicable privacy and confidentiality obligations

Unbound, LLC is not responsible for how Specialists store or manage information outside of the Unbound platform or any third-party systems used to deliver the Services.

6. SESSION INFORMATION & RECORDINGS

If a Session is recorded, we will notify you in advance and you may decline.

Recordings:

  • Are owned by Unbound, LLC 

  • Are licensed to you only for personal, non-commercial use

  • Must not be shared, reposted, resold, or distributed

For your safety:

Do not listen to recordings while driving, operating machinery, or performing tasks requiring attention.

7. NOT A HIPAA-COVERED SERVICE

Unbound is not a medical provider or a HIPAA-covered entity. HIPAA privacy and security rules do not apply to information shared through Sessions or the Site.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, Sessions are not medical treatment, and Specialists are not acting as healthcare providers.

8. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell your Personal Information.

We may share Personal Information with:

8.1 Service Providers

Examples include:

  • Payment processors

  • Scheduling platforms

  • Customer support tools

  • Email/SMS communication tools

  • Cloud storage and hosting providers

  • Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics)

These providers may access Personal Information only as needed to provide services to Unbound.

8.2 Independent Specialists

To match you with a Specialist and facilitate Sessions, we may share relevant information you voluntarily provide. Specialists are independent contractors, not employees of Unbound, LLC.

8.3 Legal Compliance

We may share Personal Information if required to:

  • Comply with subpoenas, court orders, or legal requests

  • Protect our rights, property, or safety

  • Prevent or investigate fraud or misuse

8.4 Business Transfers

If Unbound, LLC undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset sale, Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

9. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Unbound does not sell your Personal Information.

We may share Personal Information with:

  • Specialists (as described above)

  • Service providers that assist with analytics, hosting, customer support, marketing, or payment processing

We may share Personal Information with:

  • Protect the rights, safety, or property of Unbound, its users, or the public

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information.
